Have You Seen the 2020 Escape’s New Look?
Inspired by the Mustang and Ford GT, the all-new 2020 Escape has arrived with a new sportier look and advanced technology giving drivers the best driving experience. It’s the ultimate versatile car for any occasion such as going on a family road trip, long commutes or just cruising around town. The design is built with comfortability in mind. This Escape has a sliding second-row seat and enough trunk space to fit four sets of golf clubs. Our designers studied the most aesthetic sports cars and models which is why we’ve designed the shield-shaped trapezoidal grille similar to the Mustang and the lower front end mirrors to mimic the sleek legendary Ford GT.
If you’re thinking that the Escape might’ve sacrificed quality, you’ve mistaken. Every model in the lineup is powered by an EcoBoost engine that targets at minimum 400 miles per tank to over 550 miles for an improved fuel economy. The 2020 Escape ensures a smooth and responsive driving experience using a quick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission and a new isolated rear subframe on its suspension.
This 2020 Escape includes a Sync 3 system for passengers to search their favorite music with ease and includes high tech features such as a capacitive 8-inch touchscreen, enhanced voice recognition, climate control updates, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Enjoy your commute more with the 575 watt, 10-speaker B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen. Furthermore, the Escape has driver-assist technologies such as the Active Park Assist 2.0 and the Evasive Steering Assist. This vehicle has amazing safety features including the Ford Co-Pilot 360 that incorporates Automatic Emergency Braking, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert), Lane-Keeping System, Rear View Camera, and Auto High-Beam Headlamps.
Even with all these features, our engineers and designers decided to challenge themselves to make this the best Escape yet! The 2020 Escape is 200 pounds lighter than the previous 2019 Escape. Our manufacturers used a lightweight, high-strength steel such as 3D-rolled tubes as a skeleton frame to help with the weight trim. The sliding second-row feature ensures that all rear passengers can enjoy maximum legroom and knee clearance for a more comfortable ride. The 2020 Escape comes in the S, SE, SE Sport Hybrid and Titanium trims and the Escape Plug-in Hybrid is released in the spring of 2020.
