Second Generation Ford Escape
In this generation, the Escape Hybrid is one of the most sought after and rare vehicles on the used market because it was only manufactured for four years. A front-wheel drive system is standard, but all-wheel drive is available, which adds a third electric motor to the mix. In terms of Ford’s trim levels for the Escape, it is available in two different trims: the base model and the Limited trim. Meanwhile, the Limited trim level adds premium features, such as chrome exterior accents, rear park assist, keypad lock entry, and an upgraded Infotainment System, called Sync. It enhances the driving experience with heated leather seats, a sunroof, and a 6-disk CD changer.

The third-generation Ford Escape was completely redesigned and comes in four trim levels. A level up, the SE offers upgrades like alloy wheels, automatic headlights, the Sync Infotainment System, a satellite radio, and steering-wheel-mounted controls. Next, the SEL is enhanced with heated side mirrors, dual-zone climate control, heated leather seats, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Finally, the top trim level, the Titanium, features 19-inch wheels, remote start technology, keyless ignition start and entry, and a Sony stereo; some models have an available panoramic sunroof and navigation system.
In 2015, the Escape models were updated with newer technology, such as a standard Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, as well as a 110-volt power outlet and a hands-free liftgate on the Titanium trim. Likewise, the 2016 lineup included several changes to the vehicle’s features, like the Sync3 Infotainment Interface. The 2017, 2018 and 2019 models, however, will offer you the most advanced technology, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
